Devotional
The complete reading experience.
CASE STUDY 03 / AI WORKFLOW DESIGN
A repeatable six-stage workflow. A year of completed devotionals.
A creative system that connects original writing, research, human review and AI support with books, digital publishing and reader journeys.

01 / THE SIX-STAGE WORKFLOW
Structure that supports the writing. The system gives each devotional a clear path from source material to a finished piece. Research, interpretation and evaluation remain part of that path.
Bring together the Scripture, theme, context and direction for the piece.
Examine meaning and context before moving into practical application.
Shape the central idea, progression and takeaway.
Develop the devotional with clarity, warmth and a purpose for the reader.
Review accuracy, voice, readability and supporting content.
Make editorial changes and resolve issues before publication.
A repeatable process supported sustained production while keeping interpretation, editorial decisions and quality review in the work.
02 / REPURPOSING A SINGLE INPUT
The core devotional supports related formats, each adapted for its own use. Repurposing begins with the source and carries its meaning into a different experience.

03 / FROM DEVOTIONALS TO A BOOK
Selection · Expansion · Production
A 158-PAGE MULTIMEDIA DEVOTIONAL
Thirty devotionals were selected and expanded into Faith, Fear & Happiness.
The book was published through my own imprint, Velez Publishers, with QR-linked music and digital experiences. Editorial selection and expansion shaped the source material into a connected book.
The work extended beyond drafting: selecting material, developing it for a book-length experience, preparing the publication and connecting the printed pages with digital content.
04 / YOUVERSION RESULTS
Published work. Real readers.
DIGITAL PUBLISHING
YouVersion provided a publishing channel for readers to engage with the devotional content.
Subscriptions, completions, responses and ratings provide a record of how readers engaged with the published plan.
Reported results from the supplied project reference.
05 / AUTOMATED READER JOURNEY
Publishing includes the path to the content.
A SEVEN-DAY EXPERIENCE
MailerLite connected discovery, signup and a scheduled devotional email sequence.
A seven-day experience brought the publishing system into the inbox, with devotional content and a call to action as part of the reader’s journey.
The sequence adds a repeatable delivery process around the content. The writing and editorial work form the source; automation helps carry it to readers over time.
06 / WHAT I LEARNED
A system makes room for sustained creative work.A clear sequence makes repeated production more manageable and gives each piece a path to completion.
The Scripture, context, purpose and editorial direction shape what the tools help produce.
Review and revision work best as defined stages, with time to examine both meaning and presentation.
A well-developed devotional gives related formats a clear message to carry forward.
HUMAN IDEAS. AI-POWERED CREATIVE SYSTEMS.
