the Dark.

One human idea. Four connected experiences.

01 / A SINGLE IDEA

One story.
Multiple expressions.

What began with an observation about Nicodemus became a Bible reading plan, a music album, a twelve-part memoir and an automated email experience.

THE CONNECTING THREAD

A human idea shaped the work. Each format gave that idea a different expression; publishing and automation connected those expressions into a broader experience.

02 / EXPERIENCE 01

THE BIBLE READING PLAN

Turning an observation
into a five-day journey.

Original writing, imagery, narration and music brought the idea into a devotional reading experience.

Published through YouVersion, the plan became one way for readers to engage with the story and its message. My role connected research and writing with editorial review, visual direction and production.

Behind the experience

AI supported development and production. Human review guided the writing, selected the imagery and brought the narration and music into the published plan.

ORIGINAL MUSIC

A story you
can listen to.

Seven original songs extended the project beyond the written page.

The music was generated with Suno, refined and produced in Adobe Audition, and distributed through TuneCore. The work connected creative direction with audio production and release.

Behind the experience

Generation supplied material for the project. Selection, refinement and traditional audio production shaped it into a finished album, with distribution carrying the work to listeners.

THE 12-PART MEMOIR

A true story.
Organized with AI.

Existing journals and personal writing became a connected memoir series.

The twelve-part story was published through Grow Closer to God and Medium. AI helped organize the material while the personal experience and editorial decisions remained human.

Behind the experience

The source material came from my own journals and writing. This experience used AI to support organization and development of a personal narrative across a serialized reading journey.

05 / EXPERIENCE 04

Journey design · Email · Automation

THE EMAIL JOURNEY

Connecting
the experiences.

A seven-day automated email journey introduced readers to the devotional, music and memoir.

Built in MailerLite, the sequence gave the connected work a guided path. It brought publishing and automation into the creative process so the story could continue across formats.

Behind the experience

The emails served as a connecting layer: introducing the different parts of the project and helping readers discover more of the work through a scheduled sequence.

06 / WHAT I LEARNED

One idea can become an ecosystem.

The story comes first.
The tools serve its expression.

01

Start with the idea.

The human observation supplied the direction. Choosing tools came after understanding what I wanted to say.

02

Build connections between formats.

A reading plan, an album and a memoir can each stand on their own while deepening the same story.

03

Different tools require different judgment.

Writing, imagery and audio need their own review and production decisions.

04

Distribution is part of creation.

Publishing platforms and automation help finished work reach people and connect the experiences.

HUMAN IDEAS. AI-POWERED CREATIVE SYSTEMS.

One idea can open
more than one door.
