Human judgment matters at scale.
More output creates more decisions. Evaluation and curation are central parts of the work.
CASE STUDY 01 / AI PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Turning 3,000 AI generations into a curated commercial product.
An end-to-end exploration of creative direction, human evaluation, digital product design and paid distribution.

01 / THE IDEA
What if an affordable image collection could be purpose-built for churches, ministries and Christian creatives?
Long before generative AI, I remember buying inexpensive clip-art CDs filled with thousands of images. When AI arrived, that model came back to mind: a useful collection, organized around a specific audience, offered as a digital product.
The opportunity was to create something people could use. That required a visual direction, a selection process and a finished package.

02 / THE PROCESS
Human judgment at every stage.I directed the work from the initial concept through image evaluation, production, packaging and promotion.
Set the audience, purpose and product concept.
Develop prompts and explore visual directions.
Review the outputs with human judgment.
Select the images that belong in the collection.
Upscale and prepare selected images.
Organize categories and prepare delivery.
Publish on Etsy and test paid creative.
Review visits, orders and campaign response.
03 / FROM 3,000 TO 1,500
Selection is creative work.Approximately 3,000 generations became 1,500 selected images. Curation, upscaling and organization turned the outputs into a commercial collection.

Approximately half of the generated images were selected. The finished product reflects what I chose to keep, refine and organize.

04 / THE MARKETING EXPERIMENT
Publish. Test. Learn.Publishing the collection was one step. Paid social added a way to test how different visuals connected with potential customers.

Creative-level click and cost figures as reported in the project reference.
05 / RESULTS
The campaign reached a real audience and drove traffic. The Etsy snapshot records 25 orders from 1,570 visits, with a reported 1.6% conversion rate. Together, these provide useful evidence for refining the offer and its presentation.
Reported project snapshots. Campaign and storefront figures are presented separately; direct sales attribution and profitability are not established by these numbers.
06 / WHAT I LEARNED
What carries into the next project.More output creates more decisions. Evaluation and curation are central parts of the work.
Audience response gives creative choices evidence beyond personal preference.
A useful concept still needs a clear offer, a suitable presentation and a path to buyers.
A finished product needs production, organization, delivery and continued learning.
